Retro 7-Eleven Long Sleeve Jersey

I needed a thermal jersey. Pedal Clothing's ad popped up on my screen on Black Friday. Like so many companies selling cycling kit I clicked on the ad to see what they had. The Black Friday price was so low I decided to to order the Team 7/11 thermal jersey (I was a huge Team 7/11 fan back in the day). I was a little disappointed in the delivery time, but for the price I was willing to wait. It actually arrived before the stated delivery date which was a plus. The thermal jersey is much softer than my other thermal jersey meaning it is more comfortable. I love that it is a full zip. The printing is sharp and doesn't run when washed. I have a cycling jacket I bought from a more well known company and the colors ran when I washed it. I usually wear a US Medium, but, based on their fit guide, I ordered an XL. It fits well, a little big and somewhat long in the arms. I may order a large next time. Yes, that is correct. I plan on ordering from them again. Hopefully the quality and value for my dollar will be just as good for my next purchase.

I have to admit I bought this jersey just for the 7-11 graphic. Great team whose members were the foundation of US Cycling for years to come and it just looks cool. The plus is that it's a pretty nicely done jersey. I have other long-sleeve jerseys but they are a long way from winter use and here in New Mexico Winter is real. Great fleece lining that works well with a winter base layer. Torso fits me very well. Sleeve length seems a bit long for use with winter gloves and collar is a bit loose but with a high collar base layer I didn't notice that on a ride. I rode in mid-40's weather without a jacket over top and that might have been a stretch-I was a little chilly in the wind but overall warm enough. Nicely made and just looks great.
